MINISTRY

The purpose of the VBC Spanish Ministry is to reach Spanish-speaking people for the cause of Christ in the greater Seagoville area and around the world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help develop the Spanish speaking Disciples of Christ through the teaching and preaching of God's Word.  We are doing this by providing classes and worship times that are geared for our Spanish speaking brothers and sisters in Christ.

The vision for the VBC Spanish Ministry is to continue to develop the ministry to be able to better serve the needs of the ever growing Hispanic population in our city.  We are thankful that God has given us great  people who have the passion to see this ministry grow for the Glory of God!  If you have any questions or needs please contact us at the numbers listed below

OUR LEADERSHIP

JOSHUA & CAROL ROMERO

Joshua Romero has faithfully served as the lead Spanish pastor of Victory Baptist Church, a thriving Baptist congregation, for over 5  years. With a deep passion for sharing the gospel and nurturing spiritual growth, he works alongside his wife, Carol Romero, who plays an integral role in supporting church ministries and fostering community among the members. Together, they are dedicated to guiding others in their walk with Christ, both within the church and throughout the surrounding community.

WANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM?

 These are the requirements for our volunteers:

 

1. Strong Christian Faith – A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to growing in faith.

2. Fluency in Spanish – Must be able to communicate clearly in Spanish, both spoken and written.

3. Church Membership – Active membership or regular attendance at [Church Name].

4. Agreement with Church Doctrine – Must align with and support the Baptist church's beliefs and values.

5. Mature Spiritual Life – Demonstrated maturity in Christian living, including regular prayer, Bible study, and worship.

6. Commitment to Serving – Willing to dedicate time consistently to ministry activities, including meetings, events, and outreach programs.

7. Background Check – Willingness to undergo a background check, especially if working with children or vulnerable populations.

8. Interpersonal Skills – Ability to work well with diverse individuals and groups within the church and community.

9. Servant's Heart – A humble and genuine desire to serve others, particularly the Spanish-speaking community.

10. Respect for Leadership – Willing to follow the guidance of ministry leaders and contribute to a spirit of unity within the church.
